YES FOR ID CARDS!!! 8-)

This article seems to imply that by having these national ID we as a nation would be much safer. "Foremost is greatly reducing the incalculable amount of forged and stolen identification papers that this country is awash in — from driver’s licenses, to Social Security cards, to credit cards and more — all of which facilitate illegal immigration, identity theft and other criminal activity." The fact of the matter is that these ID cards, would hold an entire human being's life inside of it. There would be nothing to stop someone from stealing as many identities as wanted. I'm sorry but my identity is not a bargaining chip and I am not going to bargain on this course of action.
